Mallika was a vocals student at TSM and post completion of the course, she joined as a teaching assistant and later as a faculty member to teach foundation vocals.
Mallika collaborated with Mumbai-based hard/alt rock band The Koniac Net, for their album, “They Finally Herd Us”. She was on the backing vocals for harpist Nush Lewis’ EP “Bridges”. She sang and uploaded her first original acoustic song “Serenity” and the song was shared by AR Rahman on Twitter, who wrote “Mallika Barot… you sound amazing”.
