Peter Eldridge, a superb musical alchemist, synthesizes modern jazz with not only pop but also R&B and Latin music. He is celebrated as one of the world’s melodic poets and is compared to voices like Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon and Joni Mitchell. A talent that is multi-faceted, Mr. Eldridge is actively involved in composing, performing, arranging, recording, as well as teaching. He has been the head of the jazz voice faculty at The Manhattan School of Music since 1993. His solo recordings include Stranger in Town, Fool No More and Decorum. Peter is also a co-founding member of the double-Grammy winning New York Voices, which has recorded seven studio albums. He is regularly asked to conduct master classes and workshops around the world.
