Kamakshi Khanna is a singer/songwriter from New Delhi, India who recently moved to Mumbai. Her journey as a solo artist began in 2014 when she launched her first EP, Much Mellow. In 2015, she made her Debut TV appearance as one of the top 6 contestants on India’s first English Singing reality show, The Stage with esteemed judges like Devraj Sanyal, Monica Dogra, Vishal Dadlani and Ehsaan Noorani aired on VH1 India and Colors Infinity. After which she worked closely with the Bollywood duo, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa in conducting Songwriting workshops across the country.

 In 2016, Her debut Album, Cakewalk released on 13th Jan 2017 under one of the top record labels in India, Times Music with which she performed a  multi-city album launch tour. Her debut album walks you through different eras of sound, interpreting it in the artist’s simplistic style of songwriting. There is a note for everyone there.  The album was featured on various media platforms like Rolling Stones India, The Hindu, Travel & Leisure Magazine, etc. Her sound is the amalgamation of the old and new, transcending age groups to appeal to everyone alike. From beautiful, hummable melodies to meaningful and relatable lyrics to a voice that heals, she hopes for her music to be a source of comfort and solace for people.  Recently, she did her first ever solo US tour across cities like New York, Austin and LA. She currently works as a music educator and voice coach at The True School of Music.
