Clement Rooney

Having completed his masters from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Clement lives and works in London as a piano player. Starting classical piano at the age of three and composition soon after that, Clement has been committed to music all his life. At the age of nine he gave a solo piano performance at the Royal Festival Hall and went on to play in the Purcell Room the following year. Some years later, Clement began to take jazz and composing more seriously eventually establishing composition as his main study. Whilst under the guidance of composer Dai Fujikura, he had pieces performed at the Wigmore Hall and the QEH. As well as writing, and playing jazz, Clement also enjoys creating sound installations and experimenting with live electronics.
