Foundation Course - Indian Vocals

Bageshree Sane started learning music from Shri Gopal Joglekar at the age of 2. Her father Vinayak P. Phadke initiated Bageshree into music and then for the next 5-6 years he taught her the basics of Indian classical music religiously. Thus her father became her Guruji. She then got further education under the tutelage of Pandita Padmatai Talwalkar for almost 10 yrs.

A winner of numerous classical vocal competitions, Bageshree was also the recipient of a scholarship given to ‘Young Artist in Classical Music’ by Gunidas Vishwastha Mandal, Vashi for 2003-2005. She achieved first class in Visharad Purna of Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya and stood first in Dadar Centre. Besides performances with luminaries like Guru Pandita Manjiri Dev and at organisations like Nadabrahma, Swara Sadhana Samiti, and Swanand Sangeet Sabha, she is now a regular performer on Aakashwani.
